How to strengthen the family ties!

Ever since she gave birth to this child
She has been worried about their friends
even when the child is was growing as a teenager
and to the time the child turned twenty five.

She was worried about the company of friends
The child would be involved in school, college and later on in life.

Ever since she start noticing the rise in crime and violence among
Young people, she has been doing all her best to keep her son busy
And safe from been involve in those crimes.

She would wake up early in the morning to him prepared for school
And she would not rest until she is sure that everything has gone well
During the course of the day before she finally goes go bed very late.

She would normally say her prayers and on behalf of her only lovely child.
With the hope that the child would grow up to be responsible adult in life.

She could not ever imagine that the family union could be so shatter and broken as we now see it around us.

But then, whenever, she tries to find out why?
There’s seems to be anyone to provide her with a satisfying answer. She walks away feeling sad for the other parents and worried about her own child.

She listen to the news to find out what is going on around the world but
To her surprise, all she could instead get the news she never want to hear
About again…Someone has been stab to death because of an argument…

She cries but in silence and pain for the parents of those victims. And asked…
What has happened to the family ties, to the love that builds up the family, the unity and friendship that was the backbone of the community and to the glue-ties that once attached children together?

Do you the answer to her question?
Can you help in whatever capacity to save someone’s child’s life, and altogether finding a complete solution to the gun/knife crime on our streets and neighborhood?

And if you know how to strengthen our family ties once more so that society can once again enjoy peace and be free of crime and violence, send me your suggestions.
